Description and Request for Facilitators

On behalf of the Canadian Evaluation Society, the Nova Scotia Chapter (CES-NS) invites you to participate in one of our 2012 Annual Conference Thematic Breakfasts. These smaller roundtable discussion groups will provide a more informal opportunity to exchange ideas and best practices on a specific evaluation-related theme, while enjoying your morning coffee and buffet breakfast. The Thematic Breakfasts have consistently received some of the highest satisfaction ratings at recent CES National conferences, and we’re planning for CES 2012 to prove no exception.

Currently scheduled for 7:30-8:30AM on May 15th, we would like to encourage you to submit your name as a potential Thematic Breakfast facilitator. To indicate your interest, please contact Matt Jacques, CES 2012 Thematic Breakfasts chair at CES2012Breakfasts@gmail.com with your name, your current job title, proposed breakfast theme, and a brief (two sentence) description or rationale for the theme. Priority will be given to Thematic Breakfasts that align well with the CES 2012 main conference theme and sub-themes.

Participation in any of the Thematic Breakfasts is free for conference attendees, but seating for each of the Breakfasts is expected to be limited, so you are strongly encouraged to consider the Themes that interest you most and arrive early. Check back in the weeks ahead; the titles and facilitators of individual Thematic Breakfasts will be published as the conference date approaches.

La section de Nouvelle-Écosse de la Société canadienne d’évaluation (SCÉ-N.-É.) est heureuse de vous inviter à participer à l’un de nos petits-déjeuners thématiques lors du Congrès annuel 2012. Ces petites discussions de groupe sous forme de tables rondes offriront aux participants la possibilité d’échanger des idées et de partager des renseignements sur les pratiques les meilleures portant sur un thème particulier lié à l’évaluation, tout en buvant leur café du matin et en savourant un petit-déjeuner style buffet. Lors des récents Congrès annuels de la SCÉ, les petits- déjeuners thématiques ont toujours été considérés particulièrement intéressants et nous comptons bien ne pas faire exception cette année.
